Mark was Dealer Principal for Walker Farrimond Mazda in Blackburn which was part of the well respected family owned East Lancashire Motor Group.
John, who was Sales Manager for Hindle and Walker Volvo which became Walker Farrimond.
In 1994, John left to set up Deepdale Auto Sales in Fulwood in Preston and in 1999 paired up with Mark to set up Deepdale Motor Company Ltd.
Between them, they have traditional Lancashire family values and consider providing outstanding customer service as top of the list of their priorities.
Mark says "We have a simple philosophy. With our 80 years of industry knowledge, we are able to source the best vehicles we possibly can from our local main dealer partners. We then prepare them to a high standard by using local independent vehicle technicians who carry out a 35 point inspection and service and MOT where necessary."
John adds, "Our main dealer training at Hindle and Walker and Walker Farrimond has taught us well. To supply lovely cars, with service history, prepared and presented well. But most of all, to look after our customers as well as we did as Main Dealers."
Mark finally adds, "We are very excited about this new venture of DUKES CARS. It is a local, well established and well respected used car retail outlet with a superb showroom and we look forward to welcoming customers, old and new."
